“Every idea is just a saying without hard work”
Meet Devdutt, a mentor from Expertrons sharing his hustle inspirations.
Devdutt describes himself as an ambitious, fearless and hardworking person. Devdutt, who is PhD student at IIT Gandhinagar believes that a proper and clear vision is essential to be able to choose the right ways through the journey.
His productive mantra is to have a specific goal that will keep you productive throughout the day. He spoke about relentless hard work as a habit that drives him every single day. “To be successful, one must be sure about the profession or field they want to go in. Everyone invests time in researching different career pathways from friends, family, peers, and mentors around the space to choose a field or sector for their life, however, all visions and ideas are nothing more than just a saying without hard work.”
Devdutt feels that morning is a time when your mind is calm and fresh. “Your brain is a blank slate. Instead of wasting your time checking your phones, you should use this productive time to plan your day and get ready to hustle,” he added.
On asking where does he drive the inspiration from, he said, “There have been many role models and I always try to learn something from everyone but the first and most important role model would be my father.” He also said that his father was the first example of hard work he saw every day at home.
Devdutt urges every teenager and adult to read the biography of Elon Musk. “The story of how a little boy from South Africa grows up to become an international entrepreneur should be an inspiration to everyone,” Devdutt said. He further said that he couldn’t compare the encouragement and inspiration he grasped from this book to any other.
He also spoke on how important it is to balance work and personal life together. “As much as we should invest our time in hustling towards our goals, doing things that make us happy, like playing a game or making art is also essential. We need to create time for these things to maintain energy and keep going in life,” he added.
