Yes, if you cannot begin your batch due to unforeseen circumstances, we have a deferral policy in place where you can request a deferral before the batch starts. You must pay ₹ 5000 as a deferral fee within 7 days after the deferral request is raised.

It falls on your discretion; you decide how much you want to charge an aspirant.

Typically, consultation fees vary from X to 2X per hour (where X is your salary divided by the number of working hours per month). This number usually lies between Rs 500 to Rs 1000 per hour.

We go through the LinkedIn profiles of all our Experts to check their credibility. Additionally, all expert interview experiences on the app are thoroughly vetted before they go live on Expertrons.

The only criteria for becoming a Mentor is that you should have cracked an interview. It could have been a job, internship or a university interview. Graduation is not the criteria.

You don’t need to share all your interview details while recording the videos. Share some general tips and information that you think would be useful, so that our users get an idea about the interview processes at your company/industry.



Absolutely not! Creating an Expert Profile on Expertrons has the same effect as creating a LinkedIn profile.

A person who has a career experience (work or educational) for which others will aspire can be an expert on the platform.
Eg: A graduation experience for which lakhs of people aspire to get into – but only top 1% get in
All jobs by this definition would fall in this category as for every job there are over 300 applicants

We have a 70-30 split with respect to the consultation amount that the expert charges.
The amount gets bifurcated in such a way that 70% of the amount goes to the expert and 30% stays with the firm.

If Consultation Charges is INR 100
then Expert Payout is 70% * Consultation charge set by an expert (70%*100) = INR 70

No, there are no charges or any membership fees taken from Experts. There is no contract as such. Creating a profile on Expertrons is similar to creating a profile on Linkedin. You can check out terms and conditions on the website.

Yes, for the consultation amount to be transferred to Expert’s account, details are required for the transaction. You can add your account details in the app while sharing your career experience on the platform.

The expert has to record the answers for a certain set of questions in form of videos.
These videos have been segregated into 3 categories:

1. Scripted Questions (Overall Time Required : 2 minutes)
In this section, the script is already provided to you on the recording screen. You just need to read and record it.
For example: Hi, This is Aman. I would like to share my interview experience with XYZ company or institute. This script is already mentioned to you on the screen. You just need to read and record it.

2. Predefined Questions (Overall Time Required : 8 mins)
In this section, the questions are well- defined and you need to record an answer of minimum 20 seconds. These are the questions which are common to most of the aspirants and for which every expert on our panel answers to the same.
For example: How should you prepare your resume to get shortlisted for the company/institute? What research did you do about the role/company?

3. Interview Questions (Overall Time Required : 10 mins)
These are the questions which were asked to you during your interview. So, you need to type in those questions as well as record the answer for the same. Here, you can also frame your own questions, as we understand that it might be difficult for you to recollect those same exact questions. So, you can frame your own questions thinking from the aspirant point of view what will be the most important questions for him and record the answer for the same

We have recently built in a functionality which allows you to share multiple career experiences on the platform. So, if you have worked as an intern or as a professional with multiple companies, you can share all of it.
Coming to the questions, you have the flexibility to add more questions in the interview section. Here you can type in all your technical, HR, management and other related questions and can record the answers for the same

Currently the video content of every expert on the platform is completely free. The main reason behind this is that we want the aspirant to get an understanding about the background of the expert, so that he can accordingly move forward in terms of booking a consultation session.
Without a background of who you are and what you do, it is almost impossible for an aspirant to pay for a session. We believe in providing utmost clarity as the first step which drives aspirants to pay for the next step – a personalized experience.
Also, sharing your career experience with every student personally will be tough, so your video-bot helps you reach more amount of people and thats how consultations come in gradually.
Moreover, Our startup has been just 1 year old. We have over 6000+ experts on the platform and every expert has produced content of around 20 mins which in total comes to over 124 Mn+ mins which we are aware that is very valuable and informative. However, we will consider the option of monetising content in the future.

Pre-recorded videos are to be uploaded on Expert’s profile that works as a virtual/demo video call for the aspirants,
that works on AI, helping aspirants for first interaction with experts and to choose relevant expert.

You don’t need to share all your career details while recording the videos. Share some general tips and information which you incorporated so that our users get an idea about the interview process of that company.

You can check the number of views of your profile in the app. For consultations, we will be definitely sharing you with the aspirant details and what doubts or challenges he is having before the call so that you are also aware about the aspirant’s background and can accordingly guide him via call.

You will be receiving Expert certificate from our end after your profile is live via mail.

Confidential user details are stored in Hex format within our database which cannot be accessed even by our own team. Details like password, account number, contact details etc- are stored in a protected Hex format. So, even if the database is hacked – the hacker won’t be able to convert Hex to Contact number or even account number. We keep privacy & security of our users at utmost importance – and hence use a highly secure cloud server with AWS (spending our most tech budget of $100k on it annually) – where fortune 500 banks store their customer information.

When the consultation gets booked, the aspirant pays the charge which goes to Expertrons and after filling up the form for his/her queries it’s sent to the expert for a prior understanding about the aspirant’s background. Then after the successful conduction of the consultation call, the amount gets transferred to the Expert’s bank account WITHIN 24-48 HOURS

Experts receive a payout of 65% of the total charge for the consultation session.

The deducted 35% is the platform fee that is utilized to help the aspirants get financial relaxation; to avail these sessions seamlessly. Aspirants get a discount of 25% on all the calls and additional discounts for longer sessions of 30 and 60 minutes.
As an Expert, you can further check your 15, 30, and 60 mins charges on the Consultation Settings section on the app as well.

No, You make the consultation inactive if you are busy and make it active again once you are free.

Yes, you can. You can update the fee charges in your profile

In such case we can reschedule the appointment to a later date, but you need to give a definite date and time because cancelling the consultation again can make a bad impression on the aspirant

Training will happen online with industry experts who will work non stop with you for your success. At a minimum, we require a commitment of 10 hours a week dedicated to your job search until you get hired. This includes applications and interviews and the more time the better. On average, our fellows get placed within two to four weeks, but we will provide you weekly 1-on-1 support for as long as you need to get hired, as long as you remain committed.

We have Training Coordinators who will set up and facilitate the schedule and conduction of the program until completion.

While an Aspirant can withdraw from the program at any time, refunds will be subject to the terms and conditions of each program. Typically, an Aspirant can claim a refund only if they are not placed at a company.

A minimum of 10 hours a week is expected of an Aspirant for optimal participation in and results from the program.

Each Aspirant will undergo a series of training activities tailor made to suit their profile and career goals. In general, it will include Resume Review, Profile Building, Soft Skill Building, Interview Preparation and so on.

Yes. We work with Aspirants until they get placed within the time frame of the program.

12 months. The first 3 months will consist of rigorous and focused training, and the next 9 months, adequate support will be provided to help the Aspirants attend interviews and get placed.

Currently, we have EarlySalary and Liquiloans as loan solutions with EMI options for aspirants who face financial difficulties. We will have more payment partners and student loan options to help out aspirants in the near future.

 

Yes. Academy+ Comprehensive and Academy+ Specialization are two of the four programs available that provide the following option to aspirants: Aspirants can enroll with a part of the fee upfront after agreeing to pay the remainder as a percentage of the CTC they get set to receive after their getting hired.

Aspirants can select from the following:

 

A lump sum prepayment of 12 months in advance through one of the following options:

 

(a) Self-funding through a bank account

 

(b) Loan: Aspirants can take a loan from one of our payment partners (Liquiloans or EarlySalary) and complete a lump sum prepayment

 

(C) Credit Card Payment: Aspirants can provide their credit card number and agree for an authorization for payment by credit card post which they can make monthly payments



If any of the above mentioned methods aren’t feasible, then only with the company’s consent, aspirants can make monthly payments through any of the following methods:

 

(a) Wire Transfer/ Net Banking (NEFT)/ Debit Card: Aspirants can transfer through wire transfer or monthly Instalments in the company’s bank account

 

(b) Cheque / Demand Draft: 

 

Aspirants can draw a cheque or make a demand draft in favour of the Company



If for any reason an Aspirant chooses to withdraw from the program, they should notify their Program Coordinator in writing 10 (ten) days before they conclude their participation. If an Aspirant withdraws within 3 days from the start of the program, they shall not be entitled to their refundable deposit. If they withdraw at any time after 10 days of the start of the program, they shall be liable to pay 15% or more of the refundable deposit, depending on the case.

The program will ensure that adequate opportunities are made available for Aspirants to get hired at Expertrons’ Partner Companies. If an Aspirant has a clear goal – in terms of a specific set of companies – they can reach out to the Program Coordinators to opt for a Career Acceleration Bootcamp that suits their need in addition to the program, and then build the network and gain the support they need to land their dream company.
